I'm an Associate Professor at Olive-Harvey College, one of the Chicago City Colleges. I am also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Research Associate at the Field Museum. My research has been diverse and interdisciplinary, and is divided between traditional approaches to conservation biology, less traditional integration of conservation with the social sciences, evolutionary biology, and lately educational research. These days I spend most of my time teaching and mentoring. Here is a fun BIO!
